I have never had a snub nose that is so accurate. I use a screwdriver that is the correct size and turn the screw so the rear sight blade is driven towards the opposite sight of the sight.Yesterday was 1st day I was able to shoot my gun with new sights. I also noticed with your sight that it does not hang up in my holster as I am drawing out the revolver and it doesn't gouge my side like the original sight did.
Shot-in at 15 paces, all in the black!! Reset the screws with locktight. Gun fits better in my back country holster and doesn't get hung up like the Millet sight with sharp edges.Installed your fixed rear sight on my S&W M69, a perfect fit. I'm retired now so I have plenty of time to shoot and I can hardly wait to get out in the woods and chase some coyotes.I received the D&L sights for my Smith and Wessons yesterday. Thanks for building such a good sight and I know every time I am out I'll enjoy it even more. They are well worth the money and I will highly recommend them to everyone I meet. Shoot the first two to see where the bullet hits and then it's a piece of cake, and it was cause I hit all distances at least once and were so close at times it made their head spin.It's too bad Elmer isn't alive today because if he was he would have your sights on all of his guns. A couple of guys said they didn't think a 44 mag would shoot that far but I told them I had been reading books by Elmer Keith and we shoot the same way, "Kentucky Windage". I love them and they will be more reliable as time goes by.Then as I got more confident I tried 300 meters and 400 and finally 500 meters and impressed everyone that day.
All that and they cost LESS than the other sight. It is obviously better quality, has BOMBPROOF retention, I love the Allen head screws for that use because they look cool and you can snug them TIGHT without worrying about stripping or chewing up the slot on a standard screw, they fit the lines of the revolver better more like it belongs there, and the sight picture is PERFECT! The combination of the serrations (QUALITY!) the way the design sets the blade further back towards your eye, and the design of the sight make for an INCREDIBLE sight picture. YOUR SIGHT however is AMAZING. Really fantastic! Your rear sights are PHENOMENAL! The factory rear blade on my carry guns got knocked off or broken or ripped my clothes or ripped a hole in ME.
